Adding a Bit of Character!

Happy Monday Everyone! This weekend was a crafty one for me, I have been working on adding the finishing touches to my apartment, and I am so excited to share !

Vanity 3

This little craft is SO easy, inexpensive, and only took about 2 minutes, but made a world of difference in organization for me!

My obscene amount of makeup brushes was unnecessary to have on my vanity… so I took the ones I use pretty regularly as well as some duplicates and put them into the two containers: 1 for face brushes and 1 for eye brushes.

The rest, I left in my brush belt and if I need one I don’t have up there, I can just easily grab it!

I got all of the supplies, little glass containers & beads, at Jo-Anne Fabric!

Eiffel Tower

I also got this cute little Eiffel Tower from Marshalls! It was $14.00! It was the perfect addition to my bare nightstand!

The pillow is from BedBathandBeyond! Here are some cute ones I found online!

Target.com $21

Target.com $21

Pier1.com $16

I tried to keep the decor pretty neutral, and then add character and texture with candles, pillows, pictures, oh and the brick wall!

Candle with Flowers

For this, I found a little dish for candles, added a taller votive, and some potpourri! Make sure the potpourri is small enough so it isn’t a fire hazard! Now that the candle is too short, I don’t burn it, just a cute little display!

Vanity 2

This mirror is from an adorable home decor shop in Bernardsville, NJ! If I could decorate my entire home from this place, I would!!

I love how it all came together!
